Foodsharing Point Gliwice – a place where surplus food reaches those in need
In today’s world, where food is increasingly wasted, as many as 8.5% of Poles and over 9% of the global population still struggle with hunger. That is nearly 700 million people for whom every meal matters. That is why initiatives like the Foodsharing Point in Gliwice are extremely important – it is not only a publicly accessible fridge but also a true community space for sharing goodness.
Our support for the Foodsharing Point in Gliwice
As a company with many years of experience in construction, we proudly contributed our symbolic “brick” to this project. We dismantled the old structure and created a completely new, functional space from scratch – in accordance with the organizers’ guidelines and using our own building materials.
For us, supporting the local community is not an obligation but a value embedded in the DNA of our company.
Share, don’t waste!
The Foodsharing Point in Gliwice (3 N. Barlickiego St.) operates daily, giving everyone the opportunity to donate surplus food and support people in need.
If you have food products you won’t use – don’t throw them away. Share them. Every package of pasta, jar of jam, or piece of bread can make a real difference for someone in your city.
Acknowledgments to organizers and activists
We extend our deepest gratitude to all the organizers, community activists, and institutions who ensure every day that the Foodsharing Point in Gliwice can function. Without you, this place would not exist. Thanks to such initiatives, together we can build a more responsible and empathetic society.
